Cicatrices nace en una libreta de viaje en el verano de 2022 en España, pero, se desarrolla entre los atolones de Maldivas en digital durante 2023.

Cicatrices was born in a travel notebook in the summer of 2022 in Spain, but it is developed among the atolls of the Maldives in digital format during 2023.

Be’ S aRt worked as a diving instructor between 2021/2023 in the country of Maldives. And although saying the name of this country sounds very striking; like most of the countries that the author has lived; things change when you emerge into a life developed in 24/7 customer service, and 3 to 4 dives a day with an Egyptian/UK liveaboard company, as a diving guide.

Be’ S aRt anduvo trabajando como instructora de buceo entre 2021/2023 en el país de Maldivas. Y aunque decir el nombre de este país, suena muy llamativo; como la mayoría de los países que la utora ha vivido; la cosa cambia cuando te emerges en una vida desarrollada en el servicio 24/7a la atención al cliente, y de 3 a 4 inmersiones al día con una compañía Egyp/Uk de liveaboards, como guía de buceo.

Vivió experiencias bajo el océano Índico inolvidables, encuentros con animales marinos y ecosistemas que necesitan verse para entenderse.

She had unforgettable experiences under the Indian Ocean, encounters with marine animals and ecosystems that need to be seen to be understood.

Los momentos bajo el Índico, fueron su salvavidas en los dos años de vida nómada entre cinco barcos diferentes, cambiando de cabina compartida, entre dos o cuatro personas, a cubiertas de barcos donde cobijarse o cualquier rincón disponible en donde descansar, mientras surcaban semana tras semana los atolones de las Maldivas.

The moments under the Indian Ocean were their lifeline during the two years of nomadic life between five different boats, changing from shared cabins between two or four people, to the decks of boats where they could take shelter or any available corner where they could rest, while they sailed week after week through the atolls of the Maldives.

Una media de entre 12 a 26 buzos/clientes por semana recibían. Por lo tanto, la interactuación entre personas desconocidas era constante. Los compañeros, un refugio en algún que otro lugar, ya que Cicatrices, nace de las traiciones y deslealtades conocidas desde las falsas amistades y amores, del descubrimiento de las hipocresías y la arrogancia de defenderlas, por quienes creemos conocer.

An average of 12 to 26 divers/clients per week were received. Therefore, the interaction between unknown people was constant. The companions, a refuge in some other place, since Cicatrices, is born from the betrayals and disloyalties known from false friendships and loves, from the discovery of hypocrisies and the arrogance of defending them, by those we believe we know.

Cicatrices refleja los desgarros que la lealtad sufre, cada vez que alguien en quien hemos confiado plenamente; a excepción de si se habla desde la amistad, familia u amor; la traiciona. Descubrir esto, llena a uno de tantas cicatrices que grapar y coser, que aprendes a vivir con ellas; aprendes a reconocer, las de años atrás, las que todavía te dan coraje recordar. Pero entiendes, que no es, que todas las heridas sanen por completo, si no, que se aprende a vivir con ellas y como usarlas sabiamente.

Cicatrices reflect the tears that loyalty suffers, every time someone in whom we have fully trusted; except if it is spoken from friendship, family or love; betrays it. Discovering this, fills one with so many scars to staple and sew, that you learn to live with them; you learn to recognize, those from years ago, those that still give you courage to remember. But you understand, that it is not that all wounds heal completely, but that you learn to live with them and how to use them wisely.

Las cicatrices de nuestra alma, son un reflejo de la falta de honestidad y empatía, que dieron aquellos quienes abusaron de la sinceridad y bondad, que las almas honestas ofrecieron. Así que, no te sientas mal si fuiste un alma usada, no creas que eres débil por ello, tan solo creíste que todo el mundo podía ser tan sincero y leal como tú. Tu no pierdes, pierden ellos a un ser puro como tu.

The scars on our soul are a reflection of the lack of honesty and empathy given by those who abused the sincerity and kindness that honest souls offered. So, don’t feel bad if you were a used soul, don’t think that you are weak for it, you just believed that everyone could be as sincere and loyal as you. You don’t lose, they lose a pure being like you.

La sabiduría de las cicatrices, no te hará detectar antes o después a un ser desleal, quizás nos de perspicacia, pero lo que sí hará, es ayudarte a gestionar mejor contigo mismo, el como procesarlo y zanjarlo. No cambies tu honestidad y lealtad por miedo a que vuelvan a aparecer los deshonestos, aprende a pararlos frente a frente, sin miedo a mostrasles que sabes de su desleal modo de ser, y que no quieres tenerlos cerca. Pero tenles un ojo siempre puesto encima cuando no tengas más remedio que rodearte de ellos.

The wisdom of scars will not help you detect a disloyal person sooner or later. It may give us insight, but it will help you manage yourself better, how to process it and settle it. Do not change your honesty and loyalty for fear that dishonest people will reappear. Learn to stop them face to face, without fear of showing them that you know of their disloyal way of being, and that you do not want to have them around. But always keep an eye on them when you have no choice but to surround yourself with them.
